What the blocked list does
| You ban | What happens |
|---|---|
| IP address | The visitor cannot open your website pages |
| Phone number | Checkout refuses the order |
| Checkout refuses the order and reviews are refused |
The buyer sees a message that the order cannot be taken and is asked to contact you on WhatsApp. Each block counts how many times it was hit.
How to ban someone
- Open the fake order in admin.
- Find the IP panel with city, country and internet provider.
- Tap Ban IP or Ban phone.
- Or open the Blocked list, pick a type, add the value and an optional reason.
- Phone numbers are cleaned, so 0300 and +92300 match.
- You can unban with one tap.
- The list has search and shows the reason and last date.
Why it matters for COD
A fake COD order costs you the courier charge. A returned parcel can cost you twice.
- Ban numbers that refuse parcels again and again.
- Ban an IP that places many fake orders.
- Confirm risky orders before shipping.
Limits
- It is manual. WebRank does not score orders or ban anyone on its own.
- A person can change phone, email or network and order again.
- A shared IP, like an office or mobile network, may block innocent people. Use IP bans with care.
- IP location comes from a free lookup and can be blank or wrong.
- It does not stop the first fake order.
Pair it with order confirmation, a COD amount cap and WhatsApp confirmation, covered on the related pages.
Tip: write a short reason when you ban, such as refused twice. Months later the reason tells you why the number is on the list, and the hit count shows if the person keeps trying.
