Rules for smart collections
Choose all conditions or any condition. Each rule uses a product field.
- Product title, type, vendor or tag.
- Price, compare-at price or inventory stock.
- Operators like is equal to, contains, starts with.
- Sort products by rule or manually.
Example: Tag is equal to summer, and Price is less than 5000. New products that match are added without extra work.
Manage collections
- Filter by visible, hidden, manual or smart.
- Search and sort by title, product count or newest.
- Bulk make visible, hide or delete.
- Open any collection on the store from the list.
Build menus
Open Menus to edit navigation. Each theme with its own design keeps its own main menu. The menu marked Live is the one your published theme shows.
- Open a menu.
- Add menu items and link them.
- Drag to reorder. Drop on the right half of an item to nest it.
- Turn on Mega menu for a big panel with columns.
- Save.
Where collections are used
Your menus, homepage and category pages use collections. A well named collection is both a navigation link and a landing page.
- Name collections the way buyers search, such as Lawn suits or Wireless earbuds.
- Keep one clear purpose per collection.
- Hide a collection while you are still filling it.
- Check the product count in the list.
A quick example
A store sells shoes. It makes a smart collection with Tag is equal to sneakers and Price is less than 5000. It adds that collection to the main menu under Men, then Shoes. The menu is nested two levels deep.
Limits
- Menus go up to 3 levels.
- Default menus show your collections until you edit and save them.
- You can create custom menus, or reset a built-in menu to default.
- Smart rules cover the seven fields above only.
