Formats the importer accepts
| Source | How it is recognised | What comes across |
|---|---|---|
| Shopify | Handle and Title columns | Variants, options, SKU, price, compare price, stock, tags, SEO text, photos |
| WooCommerce | Type, Name and Regular price columns | Simple and variable products, variations, categories, tags, photos |
| Any sheet | A Title, Name or Product name column | Price, SKU, stock, description, category, brand, image link |
There is no Excel file upload. If your file is .xlsx, save it as CSV first.
How to import
- Export products from your old platform as CSV.
- Open Products, then Import.
- Choose the file and keep the photo box ticked if you want images.
- Press Import and keep the page open.
- Check the result: made, skipped and photos copied.
Rules to know
- Plan product limits apply. Extra products are skipped.
- A product whose address already exists is skipped, so uploading twice is safe.
- Photos are downloaded from secure links and saved as WebP.
- Each product keeps up to 200 variants and two options.
- Imported products from Shopify keep their draft or active status.
Large files may need two uploads. Split by 300 rows if you have more.
The import reads column names without caring about capital letters. A file with a BOM from Excel is handled too.
Before you import
- Make a backup export from the old store.
- Check prices and stock in the sheet, because blanks become zero.
- Remove test rows you do not want to publish.
- Import a small file first to see how variants arrive.
After the import, open a few products and check the photos, the options and the price. Then add collections and set your delivery rules.
Importing orders too
A separate order import reads CSV exports from Daraz, WooCommerce or Shopify. It keeps status and date, sends no emails and does not change stock. See the Daraz page for details.
Limits
The importer does not update existing products. It only creates new ones. Photos from links that are not secure or are unreachable are skipped.
